even if we'd had no sleep for the last 2 days - hope that
explains the occasional erratic behaviour, it was really
good to meet everyone - thanks again.
We had our first Jo Wiley Live Lounge session on Tuesday -
don't believe the hype we were crapping ourselves it all
went well though i think, and of course i have to mention

jammy bastard i am was quite uncalled for....
Yet another thank you to everyone who's been coming down to
the live shows, we had a blast on tour with Kaiser Chiefs
and The Cribs, two great bands and also really nice fellas
with it, if you haven't checked out the new Cribs single

a secret the next one of theres is even better.
Wrestling for the accolade of best gig so far are the
Belfast Limelight , Birmingham Academy and Liverpool
Academy2 if you disagree let us know - and get down to the

Back in the manor after our recent
stint on the road supporting the Bravery, a great band and
nice fellas with it, if you've been on Mars and haven't
heard their record get to it! We had a great time and went
down a riot - even if we did all end up sick as dogs after
failing to take ma's advice and getting arseholioed after
every show until 4 or 5 in the morning.
Thanks to everyone who came up after our set and said hello
and how much they were into the 'fi and everyone who emailed
the site - we appreciate it!! Thanks also to everyone down
at the Club NME gig last Friday at Koko - mayhem!
Next up - finish the album, the Camden Crawl next Thursday
(march10th) and then we're off to Texas for the South By
Southwest festival in Austin - I am so gonna get me a cowboy
hat....and maybe some boots...'Looks like we're shy one
horse....Looks like you've two too many...'

So, an endurance test of a weekend
for hard-fi, firstly on Friday night another storming gig at
the Hammersmith Palais supporting Graham Coxon for the final
night of NME awards shows, going on first at 6.45 meant it
was a little quiet at first but being the all round pros we
are, we rocked it like the place was jammed - and things
soon began to hot up.
The same can't be said for Saturday night when we shot the
video for our next single Tied Up Too Tight, at the first
location it snowed and then it got colder. We wrapped at 6am
with early stages of hypothermia setting in but still in
good spirits due to the fact that a: the crew were cool and
we had a laugh and b: BRENTFORD'S STUNNING COMEBACK against
Premiership Southampton in the FA Cup earlier that day to
earn a draw and replay back at Griffin Park - if we can turn
the saints over next up is Man U! - EASY!
STOP PRESS! We've got 2 London shows this week, the first on
Thursday (24th Feb) at the Basement Club, Buffalo Bar, 259
Upper St, Islington, this is a very cool night run by
rockfeedback.com and Artrocker and is gonna get busy...
Next up we're at KOKO (the old Camden Palais) nearest tube
Mornington Crescent- for the Club NME night on Friday (25th
Feb) night doors open 10pm I should imagine we're on around
midnight and the drinks are cheap. Check our (link)gigs(link)
page for more details

We are looking forward to supporting
Graham Coxon at the Hammersmith Palais on Friday although we
are onstage early, 6.45pm!
Sorry if this means getting out early if your coming along
but think of the extra drinking time it will give you!
Our new single is a live favourite and brand new song "Tied
Up Too Tight" which you may have already heard on Zane
Lowe's show or XFM from this week.
#######

Hope everyone had a good holiday and new years, Hard-fi spent the break hard at work in 'Cherry Lips' our own studio and premier recording facility working on some new tracks, talk about dedication! To be honest the guttering company next door were off for christmas so we could make as much racket as we liked...
Sorry this page hasn't been updated for a while but it's been kinda crazy recently, if you don't know already Hard-Fi signed to Atlantic Records (still through Necessary) last month after a frantic music industry bidding war, this means we can do more gigs, (we've already some more dates lined up including an NME show with Graham Coxon, check our gigs section for more details) and you'll actually be able to find our records in the shops.
Thank you for all the emails of congratulations from friends and fans alike, they are much appreciated!
#######
What a night at the Water Rats on Monday! The place was packed, apologies to those who couldn't get in. Not only was it a great show but our manager had Rick Rubin on the phone saying Stars Of CCTV was the best record he'd heard this year! - we're all gonna grow beards....long ones...
#######
Hard-Fi are gonna be recording a live session for Zane Lowe next Tuesday, We think it will go out that night so why not tune in?
#######
Sorry to those who were coming to see us at the Nottingham Rock City show we had to cancel right at the last minute due to unforseen circumstances (no honestly) - apparently Girls Aloud were gutted......
#######
Some new features on this site!! we now have a message board on line and you can also now email the band with any messages you may have like 'what the hell are you doing?! go get a proper job' - look under the 'contacts' button above.
#######
Another live date has been added to the Hard-Fi tour schedule - December 5th at Nottingham Rock City, what's getting everyone excited is that 'Girls Aloud' are playing on the main stage. Rest assured Hard-Fi will be questioning them on their attitude towards toilet attendents and then trying to get them drunk on White Lightening.
Check our gigs section for more details.

Another riotous Hard-Fi performance at The Dublin Castle, thanks to everyone who came down - especially the Staines contingent (they don't often leave the manor).
'Cash Machine' was played on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show again this week and sounded fantastiche on the radio, if you haven't heard it yet goto our sounds page and download a clip.

#######
For our rehearsal warm-up, this week we shall be mostly playing 'Heard It Thru The Grapevine' the Marvin Gaye version.

Hard-Fi are currently putting their feet up after finishing a whirlwind tour of Great Britain, a big thanks to everyone who came along to the shows and to The Golden Virgins and The Vacation who we supported on the tour.
The final show was to a packed Kings Cross Water Rats which seemed to have half of Staines in there as well as various music industry types sniffing around, we rocked the joint as usual and spent the rest of the evening head shaking to The Vacation and then drinking back at their hotel - 'The Columbia' (legendary rock 'n' roll hotel, also a bit of a dump) headaches all round...
#######
Oh and sorry to anyone who wanted to come along to see us in Bristol but the gig was cancelled at the last minute - knickers...
